I am in the process of getting my own ride but until then, here's the boat I've grown up with and has been in my family since I was 6 years old!

It's a '77 Southwind powered by a 460cu in Ford. Nothin' to tricky with the engine, not blown alcohol burning nitro injected drag boat, but it's been really reliable for many many years. Was fun as a kid to work and play on it, somethin' to bridge the generation gap between the parents and myself.

I always wondered why they didn't put one out in a v-drive model! :confused

Probably because nobody that worked over there knew anything about v-drives??. I thought about converting one once, just never got around to doing it!.. :rolleyes

Yea it's from the California side shore of Emerald Cove RV park. I started in Havasu and travelled down to Parker strip over the years.

I'm still around, just workin' my brains out. Hopefully to afford Silver's new truck and possibly somethin' for it to tow eventually!
