I got a couple of interesting emails from a guy in Sweden named Ove Sundén.  This is a very cool story. :cool

He had purchased a 1979 Challenger with a 454 from a dealer in Upland, CA and had it shipped to Sweden where it now resides. :good



This is the boat as seen from a past Classic Boat Beach Bash event.  Does anyone know the screen name of the prior owner?  His real name was included in the emails, but I was hoping someone knew his screen name so we can show him this thread. :D

Notice how the axles were removed and the fenders cut off in order to fit it in the shipping container.

That is a lot of expense for a squirter.  Probably spent almost as much shipping it as he paid for it!  Very cool, though.  I'm glad to see someone over in Europe appreciates them.

I wonder how many lakes he has to go to? When I was in Germany they didn't have boat ramps or powerboats on any the lakes I went to.
