Quote (Mirvin @ Jan. 13 2004,3:40 pm) | Is there a certian paint that should be used in the bilge? Â if so, what do you guys recommend?
Thanks,
Mirvin |
Clean that garbage out and see what the floor looks like, if it's real bad and has a lot of bad cracks, grind them out and fill them with cloth and resin, sand it down smoothe and then gel coat it with the color you want, that's what I'm getting ready to do with mine now!..

Couldn't you just make a motor plate to go against the block and make a cover for the driveline?..

Mine is in the open, nobody goes back there though!. I did a conversion like that once, I made a plate then I got one of those clunker cast bellhousing mounts and whacked the ears off and ground it down and polished it, never knew that was ever a full mount, looked pretty cool too!..

Welcome to Doug's place!. No dought that paint looks good but I like gel better, lot more durable than paint and with Duratec "High Gloss" you don't even have to rub it out!..
