Carb Spacers do they really do anything? I have a 1” thick 6061 billet that is just begging to be made into something. I feel the need to make some metal chips.

Yeah, they help depending on the application. Spacers will help top end. In you're situation, I doubt that you would notice anything, but you never know until you try, since you have the material, go ahead and make one!, if anything, it will give ya something to do!.. :laugh
