I've always wanted a nice V-Drive daycruiser but haven't found any good ones at a good price when I had the $$ available. We currently have a 21' Biesemeyer Jet Daycruiser that needs a total restore, which is about to start. Since we have to do the whole thing anyways, would it be easy to convert it to a V-Drive? and if so, is it cost effective? The Daycruiser has a Berkeley Jet in it, but not one of the sought after models. It has no interior, and we need to flip it anyways to redo the paint on the bottom.
Well Art, tell me, can it be done? And if so, how would it look and run?

Sure it can be done! that boat probably came in both versions. All you need to do is plug up all the holes and start over!. BradP is doing one, forgot what hull it is though!. As long as the boat has full lenght stringers, no problem!. Just a bunch of work!

Yep, unless you want a project, I'd look for one that's already done!.
