Thanks for the compliments guys!. All my stuff is Anodized, made out of 6061.
Sleek, my plates are 3/16", when it was "K" boat, they had 1/4", some guys like the thick plates but I can't see any reason for it, it just makes it that much harder to push them down and adjust!. If you're going to use angle on the stringers to mount the motor, 2x2x1/4 angle and 3/8 motor plates bolted to a triangular block on each corner is perfect, simple and cool, but there are other ways also. When you make you're own it's neat to do something unique!.. Let me know if I can help!..Good luck!...

Yeah, they are the shit alright!. Â
Just a note: If you use stainless nuts and bolts, make sure you lube the threads other wise you may not get them off!..

Whoops,  Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, only the bolts thru the motor mounts and stringers. We shall see  .

Yeah, stainless galls real easy when dry. When you back off a nut, it will grab, when it does it's all over with, time for the nut splitter. All my stuff is stainless except for the engine mounts, I use plated grade eight's!.

I like to use Moly grease, just a tad is all that's needed, no need to smear a whole pile on, just so it don't go on dry, same on AN fittings, anno against anno ain't too cool either!..
