Well since I been out of the area for some time I may be out to lunch on this!. :rolleyes But try Paul's Upholstery, he was out by Riverside next to Eliminator Boats, he used to do all of their stuff and he did top quality shit, he's been doing it since the 70's, I knew him well but it's been a long time since I've been in contact with him so he may be retired by now but it's worth a try!.. :rolleyes

Designer Marine Interiors in Corona. Ross Bohlman is the manager there and does awesome work. He did the original threads in mine and did a repair for me last year. If you need references click on the link below to see some of their work. He used to do the majority of the work for John West and now just does the custom stuff/big boats. Reasonable rates and high quality work.

(951)340-9171 Martinez Marine Interiors in Norco also does work for Ultra and other local builders. Haven't had anything done by them but have seen some pretty cool work by them.

Yeah I haven't been over there since I moved over here and that's over 10 years now, didn't know he moved. He did quality work for sure, George did too he did my seats in the Daytona. But Paul is getting up there in age, I'd say it's time for him he retired!.. :good

Stratton Marine Interiors, Inc. ???
Riverside, CA  (909)637-6990.

The card I have says both SMI, Inc. and Garcia Brothers on it.  Maybe Paul sold it.  Check it out.

If I'm not wrong, Garcia Brothers used to be out of Perris, CA and did the over flow for Ultra and Commander. BTW, Riverside COunty is now (951) not (909)

How much does re-upholstering normally go for?

How much do want to spend... :D

My upholstery guy back in Colorado was going to redo the Sleekcraft (typical jet boat interior, but not engine cover :D )before I moved and we were looking at around 1200 - 1500 to completely re-upholster and re-build the seats, cover the side walls and engine gaurd.   That was using a heavy grade vinyl and new foam.   The estimate also was with french seams (i.e. double re-inforced, no welt) and some patern work as well.

A simple interior will be less, but as soon as you want embroidery, paterns, different seams, and fabrics then the price goes up.  A show quality job will easily be three or four times per seat more.

I was actually planning to spend between 3-4k.
My boat has an open bow which may be more.
I also want embroidering and flames on my seats.

The above quote was for 2 barrel and cocktail seats, 2 2' by 12' long side panels and the engine gaurd.  3 colors of vinyl with no embroidary.  I can't remember how many yards of material, but a few, and no carpet.  About half the cost was material, the other half labor.

I would say 3 to 4 grand is in the ball park, maybe on the low end, but it should be doable at that price.

I got a quote from Martinez to redo all of my threads including sun-deck/engine cover with three colors and the Ultra logo on all seats and two other flat surfaces. His price included new pads and some minor rehab for $2600.00. Its a 21' open bow w/ forward seating for pilot/co-pilot and a bench in back with strandard open bow seating. Good luck and keep us posted
