No problem, I did the same thing. There will be a slight lip left after the cut and all that needs to be done is to blend it in when you do a clean up on the ports!..

The valves won't be sunk in, that lip will be right behind the valve on both, it's part of the port!.

Sorry wrong theory that would work if you had square port heads and zinging the motor 7500. If you did that with the ovals you would have to do extensive porting to make it work and then it would still be out of your rpm range. Go with the 2.19 and 1.88's and do a clean up on all the ports(especially the exhausts) and polish the chambers and you will have a torque monster up to 6500!..
