This is a pic of one of the 4 heads I got off Ebay for spares its a 049 with 1.88's and 2.19's but this one looks like junk to me

On the other hand, you could always take it out to your favorite spot at the lake, tie a rope to it and use it for an anchor.  Then again, that would actually require you to go to the lake and take the boat off the trailer.   :jumpie  :beer  :rotflmao

This head is a big valve 049 (2.19 & 1.88). and only needs 2 valves. If you buy 16 new valves for a stock 049 at say 12.00 each thats 192.00 plus new seats and the machine/port work your pushing 700.00 I'll bet. It seems that if it can be fixed for around 200.00 it would be worth it.  :stupid

Seems to be. :) The main reason I took the broken one with the 3 good ones was to get the Comp Springs and ARP guide plates and 14 good big valves. The ok 049 head has bigger valves than the one good one I have left so I'd have to get it machined but of course thats a ways down the road :comp
