I take it the boat is just a cruiser and not a Hot Rod, you'd be better off saving the money and increase the efficiency of the pump, get better results!..

Quote (tunamaster @ Nov. 24 2004,8:39 am) | My pump does have a diverter. In order to get more effeciency out of the pump what do you recommend? it is a dominator pump. |
Change the grate, put a tighter wear ring and maybe a better impeller if you just have a stock one. Also you could polish the bowl if you wanted to go for the gusto!..

Typically, if anything, you'll gain a little bit as most of droops have a certain degree of wedge built into them. Â |
Yep, providing you don't blow the water up in the air!.

For a ski boat for what you'd get out of it, I don't think I could justify the cost of a droop.. In a hot rod and looking for the most out of the boat, I would go for it!...My .02
