No, but a droop snoot might help out.   :D

Basically drops your thrust line to whatever amount (they vary by degree and length).  More of a top end thing to get the boat out of the water more.   :D

Have you already got a diverter?  Is your pump setup to run a droop, that is, is it a split bowl?

I take it the boat is just a cruiser and not a Hot Rod, you'd be better off saving the money and increase the efficiency of the pump, get better results!.. :)  :good

My pump does have a diverter.
In order to get more effeciency out of the pump
what do you recommend?
it is a dominator pump.

Change the grate, put a tighter wear ring and maybe a better impeller if you just have a stock one. Also you could polish the bowl if you wanted to go for the gusto!.. :)  :good

The height of your rooster tail (if any) would be controlled by your diverter, which is AFTER the droop. So in other words - no. :D

Typically, if anything, you'll gain a little bit as most of droops have a certain degree of wedge built into them.   :good

For a ski boat for what you'd get out of it, I don't think I could justify the cost of a droop.. In a hot rod and looking for the most out of the boat, I would go for it!...My .02
