Im having problems with the clamps that hold the reverse cable sheeth... When ever I throw the jet into reverse the force of the flow throws the gate up and the outside of the cable sheeth moves.  Anyone have a better mouse trap idea to deal with this... Im to the point of epoxying the dam thing...  Any sugjestions???

You talking about up by the shift lever :stupid If so make sure the clamp is sitting in the groove on the metal end of the cable. The clamp should have a bump dealio that fits into the groove on the metal end of the Morse cable :good

It was held on there with a plastic clamp...  I think it was rigged when I bought it.. So there is a groove, does that mean there is a better clamp designed for this stuff? :stupid

Id like to get it done right instead of rigging it...

I appreciate the help guys!  But the boat is in storage in needles....  So there are no pictures possible, I am just tryin to get the parts that i need to be prepaired, so I can fix it while I am in needles next week...   I figured out the reverse didnt work the hard way when I was trying to bring the boat back on the trailer :(

Yep, there is a small metal strip about the size of the clamp between the cable and hull.
