Quote (AZKC @ May 24 2005,5:50 pm) | or they really like me
Ring Ring "Hello Kevin its Stephanie from Larrys, your head is all done its $280 and some change  we had to replace all the intake valves  they were bent , Larry highly recomends you have us ck the other head also those intakes are probably bent too" Â
It never ends So I'll strip the head tonight and drop it off tomorrow morning and pick up the other one up. And I'm still flip floping on my piston dealio Â
How much are those ZZ502's again? Â Â Â |
But just think, how long do you think this motor would last with a bunch of bent valves if you didn't get the other one done!..

Quote (MrCord @ May 25 2005,2:12 pm) | You can get a rebuilt zz502 for $4995... Â But from my experience so far just stick with the 454... But maybe set fire to that one
Good luck!!! |
Yeah and when you get it home you still have to tear it all down to measure and check everything!.

Quote (AZKC @ June 01 2005,8:04 am) | Expecting the heads back this week. Had to call Comp Cams up, had not recieved the pushrods and lifters And of course they had lost the order Got them straightend out and the package should hit Friday So if things go as planned I should get the long block together this weekend and then drop the motor in next week and maybe have it in the water in next weekend. I'd hate to take our maiden voyage to OP6C in Parker(6-25) but it may happen. |
As you say, KEWL.... OP6 maiden voyage sounds great...I'll buy the champagne...
