Felipe,

Welcome to the HD Forums! :good

While many of us have assembled our motors, I can't think of anyone that has built a wooden hull here.  The majority of us have professionally built fiberglass hulls.  While most of our boats came with a working engine, many of us have rebuilt our engines at one time or another.

Your project sounds very interesting, though, and I hope you will share with us any progress you make. :D

Good luck with your project. :good

Felipe,
You can build aboat from wood, fiberglass, aluminum, steel or concrete...your choice. I have personally used wood to build a 9 foot & 14 foot boats (runabouts)
You might take a look at www.glenl.com. They sell plans and other stuff to the home builder market. Hope this helps.

My dad built a wooden boat when I was a kid.  He covered it with fiberglass cloth and "painted"  a resin material over it.
