Quote (AZKC @ July 08 2005,7:38 am) | Here's a pic I have of the way the wood looks before recovering. I did not do this but I saved the pic so I would have an idea on how to if I ever try it. |
I've been looking for a picture like that for a hell of a long time. They dont look to hard to build at all!Do you know of any standard dimensions they may have used for the fronts or should I go measure the friend with the biggest rear end .I appreaciate all the help so far.Dont give up on me yet though.I still need some pics or info on the bowrider seat frames. Thanks guys!

Quote (stingray @ July 08 2005,9:11 am) | can you start with the old seats as a pattern? or are they gone. as far as the front, I have a friend to ask, but it may need to be exact to your boat, as it has been cut from a non open boat. but I,ll ask. |
The original seats are gone. They were rotted from sitting out in the weather.I bought the boat that way and have no idea what the the stock ones even looked like.I'm working with quite a bit of room for the seats. The inside of the boat is around 72" side to side. Its sorta like a mini daycrusier, with out the big crawl space. The boat pictured above is what it looks like, just in project form. Thanks for looking into this.

Well that makes a whole lot of sense. So they take the shell all the way down to the floor with glass.Good thing you showed me that because I had some other jankey stuff on my mind . Would have came out alot worse until it was covered by the seats.Well ,if you guys have more to offer I will surely take the info or pics.thanks again
