We're getting ready to go to the lake last night and pretty much done. So I figure I better make sure the boat starts :rolleyes Turn the key and it fires and dies, try some more......nothin :banghead Ck for fuel in the carb, its dry :( Well I just put a new filter on it so I figure it just needs help getting primed. So a shot of starting fluid and it fires and dies. :break Ya know I've been freakin about bad fuel so figure I got something plugged.
Pull off the fuel line and blow through it to see if its restricted, can't blow thru it :stupid so I pull the hoses off the tank and can't get any air into the tanks from the pickups. So then I pull the fittings off the tank and air goes thru fine :beat blow thru the fittings and they are plugged, or so I thought. There's a gawd damn ck valve built into the barbed fitting (spring loaded ball). And in the process of taking one of the hose fittings off the thing twist in half.
So I keep cking stuff and come to the conclusion its just out of gas :angry  :banghead It had gas when I left Parker :rolleyes But its almost bone dry. Blah, Blah, Blah...
Up early off to Home Depot for some fittings then off to the gas station. Prime it up and it fires right off runs fine :D

So its off to the lake a few hours behind schedule but still going.

Stay Tuned :drink  :rotflmao

Glad it turned out to be something as simple as a dry gas tank. :good

Better to be bone dry on the trailer than bone dry on the water, huh?  ;)

Good to hear that the fix was easy. I always refill mine everytime out. The guage in my boat drops to empty just below 3/4 of a tank.   :rolleyes  :D

You probably had some, say you had 4 gals but spread out over the suface of the bottom of the tank it's only an 1/8" deep, that's just like having hardly anything and it will go away real quick!..
