I think I saw this thread on Drama-Boat...   But its comming time to get ready for the boating season once again.  I am doing a bunch of maintenance, repairs and upgrades...

So Im curious what everyone else is doing to their boats to get ready for the season...

For Me:

1. Complete rebuild of Jet Pump
2. Clean Impeller of Dings
3. New Loader
4. New Droop
5. Take off Half ass ride plate
6. New Spark plug wires
7. Consolidate wiring
8. New Alternator
9. One new blue top optima
10. Fix Loose screws in swim step
11. REPLACE ALL OF THE MISSING SCREWS THAT I ALWAYS SAY I WILL TAKE CARE OF LATER  :beat
12. Mount a Bimini Top (If I can figure out how to get wood in there to back the screws)
13. Change Oil

I cant wait for the season, and working ont he boat makes me more excited! (But I am having alot of it done for me so I dont screw it up) :banghead

SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO YOUR BOAT???  Hope everyone has a trouble free season!!!!!

New mechanical fuel pump and change of oil probably.

Need to redo the brakes on the trailer also.

Maybe... and I mean maybe... have something done with the interior, but that probably won't happen till next year.

The plumbing is fine... it's the fuel pump that's acting goofy right now.  Pulling the electric pump off and going to put a mech. on.   :good

3) New Plugs and Wires
4) Install new Automatic Bilge Pump
5) Clean Impeller edges
6) Install new CF #'s
7) Full Exterior detail
8) Full Interior detal
9) Getting a new Storage cover made

It's gonna be a great weekend... :good  :D

I have a few things that need to be done, but so far I have started to color sand and buff it. I will try to get the bunks on the trailer change next. I still have to replace the cover and get some uhpolstery work done.....

:bebe  I still cant beliver you just went to the river  :D   I wana go now!  But my pump is getting rebuilt :(

I just got a new High Torque starter, to get rid of that cast one, but I will keep it on the boat as a spare!

And I am bidding on a pair of lightning headers...  Maybe they will make my engine happier than the stock aluminum risers...

Man if I add up what I have put into this boat, since I bought it.  I could have bought a new/used eliminator and spend too much money on it too  :banghead

I did the math, and bought a new boat last year. what I was spending on crap I'm money ahead on the new one,

BTW; trailers in my park are selling from 50k to 235k, the last one has a three car 30' deep garage, but you rent in a park. launch ramp, beach trailer less than 100 yds. from the water, but I think you were looking north of parker?

I'm going to replace the points ignition with a HEI, new wires and plugs, oil and filter change for the engine, oil change in the drive to check for water(again) and remove the focking electric choke. Need to get a new bimini but don't think I will get to it before summer. :D Can't wait for the first trip :beer
