I'm putting a 350 Olds in the Sleek Craft and was wondering what went into building your 327.

To be honest not much went into it. It was stock when I bought it so I freshend it up and droped it back in and away we went.

It,s turn key and fun ...but top end is only about 55-60mph I  might rebuild for more speed but haven't decided if I want all the headachs that go along with that

Very valid point  :)  Turnkey low maintence makes for more time on the water less time on the trailer, Thats why I want 3 boats  :)  A hot rod flattie, good river/small lake jet and a big single motor 80 to 100mph boat with a cabin. Time to go buy that lottery ticket...

That's the kind of performance I hoping I'll get.  Just building  a nice cruiser, fun, boat.  

I'm with AZKC though, if Megabucks every pays off, watch out.
