I want to take the carpet off of the front of my Deckboat. The surface is about 4' x 5'. Anybody know what would be the best decking to put down and where to get it. I was thinking some non-slip foam similar to a wake board or surf board. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well I'm not into them things, but I would think that non-skid stuff would be better than carpeting!.. :stupid

The stuff comes in a pre-cut kit with peel-n-stick backing.  Prob. 2-3 hours to clean, prep, and stick down.   :good

My carpet is still in great shape - sorta. I think a cat peed in there or something. :puke  When a certain spot gets wet it smells bad. It'll have to get a good cleaning next time out.

The Hydro-turf is holding up very well. I do have to glue down some edges, but nothing big. :good

Looks like some killer stuff.  I wonder how well it will look and work in my boat?  The carpeting backing is coming apart so I will need to replace it with something in the near future.

I have a snap on carpet in my boat.  Do you think that stuff works better than a snap on carpet?  :stupid

My LS 2000 has one big piece of berber with velcro stickdowns.  When it gets wet, it starts sliding around.... :rolleyes

The turf I put on the swimstep works great....

It has started to "shrink up" on some of the edges (3 years of service), as it just BAKES in the sun all day.

I had to put it down with 3M adhesive; it wasn't pre-glued, which was quite messy.... :banghead
