+/- .045 is what I set mine but fine tune tweaking is not my specialty. How do the old plugs look?

The old plugs were carbon fouled as hell... I leaned it out... Doubled my gas mileage...  But im replacing the old plugs anyways...

The boat has been acting funny... Sometimes when you floor it.  5100 rpm... but after a long hard run... Floor it and 5600 and 70 mph when before it was 61 or so...  This is GPS by the way...

But after a long hard run the heat seems a little cold from puling one after a full throttle run...  So I Went a step hotter...  But the gap has me scratching my head...

THANKS FOR THE TIPS... I shouldnt have been so lazy and looked it up on my own... But thats what HDF is for right?? :good

One more question...

I gapped all the plugs to about .048   not if the range is .040 to .050  is bigger gap better?

Bigger gap longer spark, but the wider the gap the harder it is on the ignition unit and the effiency goes away, that's why you go by the MFG's suggested gap!..

Why??, as I said wider gap more spark, if the MFG suggest up to .050 then .048 is cool leave it, if you go over that then you start to pull the ignition down!..
