I need to clean up the back of the boat before I sell it. Some of the wood needs some attention. I have McCloskey "Man O' War" Marine Spar Varnish is that good enough?

Ahhh gotcha, :good  I'll say one thing though, if you're comtemplating a project and you insist on a ditch pump, I would recomend the Biesemeyer over the Tahiti. The "B" boat is 10 times the boat the Tahiti is, and the return in value is way above the Tahiti, not to mention it looks way better!.. :D  :good

Sure it will work, resin would last a lot longer though, but if you're cleaning it up to sell it the Varnish will do fine, make sure the surface is prepped good though!.. :good
