I need to clean up the back of the boat before I sell it. Some of the wood needs some attention. I have McCloskey "Man O' War" Marine Spar Varnish is that good enough?

Didn't get a chance to take the pics. I had a tire separate on the way to the Phx Airport yesterday. What a pain in the a$$. I'll get some tonight after work.

To the right home I might let it go, but its not "for sale for sale" I'm itchin to get started on the Tahiti but there is Zero dollars in the boat building fund Then there is the I think a Bez Jet boat a buddy of mine got for a song that needs a good home.

Ahhh gotcha, I'll say one thing though, if you're comtemplating a project and you insist on a ditch pump, I would recomend the Biesemeyer over the Tahiti. The "B" boat is 10 times the boat the Tahiti is, and the return in value is way above the Tahiti, not to mention it looks way better!..

GFR, now that you have seen the stuff I want to fix, do you think the spar varnish is good enough?

Sure it will work, resin would last a lot longer though, but if you're cleaning it up to sell it the Varnish will do fine, make sure the surface is prepped good though!..

I'd use a grinder to get all the big stuff then sand it, whatever it takes to get to bare wood!..
