Well not knowing anything about your motor, I'll take a wild guess and say it's either junk parts just gave up, or you floated the valves and things bound up???..

Regardless, I'll bet there's a lot more wrong now than just a broken rocker and push rod.
Hold on to your lug nuts, it's time for an overhaul!

I guess i got lucky. One push rod broken and a lifter. Everything else checks out ok. Thank god. I wont be rebuilding this motor just yet.
