This is so not boat related...

I need 2 of these made...

They are jack pads for the airplane.  The originals were cast aluminum, but you can't find them anymore.  So my guess is I'd need a machinist to make some out of bar stock.

Is that possible....

... and how much??? :D

My guesstimate would be around .4062.
I got a guy who used to work in my shop who is now out in Marina del Rey who could whip these up for you.

Want I should send it his way for a quote?  ;)

They are jack pads for the airplane, so I can jack the gear leg completely off the ground.  I'll see if I can find a pic of one of them in action.

Yeah, the bump fits down inside a dimple on the hydraulic jack, keeps it from falling off the jack while you are raising or lowering the airplane.

So this piece keeps a jack, (not part of plane), from slipping off wing root?

In a way yes...

The airplane doesn't have any hard points (renforced areas)on the wing for jacking it off the ground.  The jack pad not only gives you a point to install the jack, but spreads the load across the spar and keep the wing from being damaged.

That's exactly what it looked like.

Looking at this, I guess that the size of the "dimple" isn't that critical?? :stupid

No... shape really isn't that important either... as long as it allows the face of the jack to contact the pad...

No... I'd like to have them by the time I do the annual inspection, but that is still several months down the road... October probably.
