Ive been told that it might not be a bad idea to run two pieces of 90 degree aluminum flat stock from the transom to the bow in my 18 rayson craft lp to connect the engine to the v- drive to help fight twisting and or distorton. What do you think???

It is not necessary to go all the way up other than to hide the stringers if they don't look good,it will not do anything for twisting. What it does is prevent the bolts from pulling into the stringers when tightened. I ran mine from the back to the front of the motor. For the v-drive, I just made some backing plates!.... :)
