Have a chance to pu an 82 Carribean. Â Hull looks clean, motor, pump, gas tanks are fresh. Â The big issue is the floor needs replacing. Â I pulled up a small section of the floor and notice the center stringer was completely rotten. Not sure what the others look like. Â Am I looking at a nightmare in repairs? What's the difficulty meter on this repair?
Looking for another project, not a nightmare!!
Whatcha think gofastracer?

Well, first of all how much for it???, Second, can you do glass work???. If you can then it's just a project, but if you can't then it means $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, and if the floors and stringers both need replacing you're looking at $2000-$2500 at least to do it right.. If you go this route I know a guy that does good stuff, he did the floor in my Rayson you can check it out in my project thread!..

Just started looking again. Sold the ol Southwind last year and missed having a boat around. Not scared of mechancial work or interior work, it's the stringer stuff I'm going to shy away from.
Never had a v drive before, sounds interesting. So I'm kidda open to all options at the moment.
Have anything available over at your place?
Let me know

Yeah unless you're into glass work it can be scary. So what do you want in a v-drive, drag, circle or day cruiser, I may know of a couple different ones that are available, how much you want to put out for one at this time???. Nothing in a v-drive available at my place, just a Bisemeyer jet boat that will available shortly, if you know anyone looking!..
