Ok im trying to install these old gauges from the Omega with some angled bezels but i cant get it on right.......... wtf do you have to do to get it to connect again, the little plastic piece on the back of the gauge wont hook back on even when i ground out one side..........Do the newer gauges have longer terminals to make it fit better or what......

A pic says a thousand words. You made the whole bigger so the bracket has to be that much bigger. When the manft's are doing a bezel gauge, the whole is drilled at the same angle. ie. 2" front and back, not 2" front and 2 1/2" back.

From the pics you could make a good bracket from a piece of scrap 6061!. :stupid
