Yeah I heard he kicked ass, talked to Tony Thursday and he just put a new legal motor in it, he has a damn good boat just wait till he gets some seat time, he's going to be hard to beat, he still can't really turn it yet!... :good

Oh yeah, it was nice to meet Jordy too. Â :rolleyes

Â We stopped by on our way out after the TAF qualifying, but Jordy was no where to be found... Â :alien

Had a pretty good time, though the fuel hydro's kinda sucked after one boat took out all the lane markers and timing equipment. Â It appeared the IHBA peeps cut the fuel boats qualifying round short, because all of a sudden the alcohol hydro's were on the rope.

The SS boats and K boats were pretty cool, Tony put on a pretty good show in the second heat race on Saturday after he fell behind at the start. Â :good

The SS second heat was full of suprises as well after the lead boat broke with half a lap to go and did not finish. Â Don't ask me number or names, by that time of the day I was on view only mode, no recording. Â

Oh yeah, the airplanes in the trailer. Â That's one reason we were standing there, to get a better look inside. Â They had the Lear and also what looked like an F-86. Â The Lear was ducted fan, but the F-86 looked like it might have a had a pulse jet. Â Toys, you gotta love these toys.

And finally, for all you diesel jockies out there, one of the coolest transport tractors I've seen in a while. :good

Saw one stuff a sponson on Friday and sink :eek

but didn't catch anything on Saturday but we left about 4pm. Sunday we just got up and came home

One let go on Sunday, all black. I believe it was a TAH boat. Launched, chine walked it a bit, then finally rolled it from one side to the other and the boat broke up. He was out of the capsule before the rescue boat could get to him. The fished a bunch of parts and pieces out, but left the capsule sitting on the island all day. Perhaps it was to serve as a reminder.

What a weekend. Good times, total blur. It was good seeing everyone, yeah even you Tucson clowns. :bebe
