Hello.
Brand new to the board. anyway here is my story...
I recently just moved to San Diego from Boston and my 2 brothers have decided to throw me a bachelor party (1st or 2nd weekend in June) and they want to go to Lake Havasu. Couple questions????
Do you think Havasu is a good place for a bachelor party? Is the first weekend or 2nd weekend in June a good time to be there? Will there be a ton of other people to party with? Tips or Advice on nightlife, activities, areas to party?
Thanks!!

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
I've heard rumors about the Sandbar...
Seriously, congratulations.
Havasu is pretty much one big party from about the first of April till October. Weekends are wilder than during the week, but you shouldn't have a problem finding peeps to party with.

thanks!
does anyone have any additonal info about the sandbar?
also, anyone know if it's better to rent a house for a weekend rather than stay in a hotel. We are thinking house would be the best so we could throw late night parties after we are done at the bars/clubs

re: sandbar
Do you have a boat, or are you planning on renting one? Because that is the only way to get there.
Congrats on your upcoming nuptuals.
You can rent a house, but unless you know someone who has one to rent, I suppose the best place find one would be through a real estate agent (hint: don't mention the Bachelor Party thing when renting ) There are many good hotels there right on the water where the action is, but you should make reservations soon, as a chunk of rooms is not always available last minute. Good luck with your planning.

My boat is back east on my Dad lake in Massachusetts right now. Not sure when I will be getting it out here. Been pretty hectic with my move, just got to San Diego a month ago.
We will be renting a boat for that weekend. Probably a party boat or something like that.
we are currently looking into getting a house for rent and of course we won't mention it's for my bachelor party but thanks for the heads up.
I appreciate all the help so far!!
So what the best bar or club to go to at night? how late are bars open? What about police? rules for drinking in public etc?
Thanks in advance again!

Just wondering is all because I could easily just get a bunch of strippers in SD instead of going out there for the weekend. Or, I guess I could always bring some strippers with us!!
Just want to confirm all the stories and know that this is defintely the place I want to party down before the ball and chain are attached for good.

Boston-
Nightlife si semi-limited, personally I make and/or nring my own night life. But there is always Kokomo's, but be prepared for some meathead cock-diesel mo-fo's (LOL)...depends on the weekend.
I have gone to two bachelor parties out there, one is havasu, one in parker.....honestly parker was better for the bachelor purposes, floating bars, nightlife options, casino, etc. But overall, Havasu is always better. Parker needs a holiday weekend behind it to be awesome.
I would stay at Nautical Inn, always parties going on there. It's pretty much assumed that someone will be up late, unless you have enough guys to make a house worth it.
We brought strippers with us to Havasu, worked out good. DO NOT hire the service out of Havasu, the girls are beat up from the feet up!!!!
Any other q's??? let me know
