:beer  We are going to an anual event in Needles 3/29-4/01. We have never been there , we frequent Twin Palms in Blythe and lake Mojave, we are staying at MOABI Regional Park, then we are headed to Parker for Our spring break!! Both places are new to us So wish us Luck and Let me know if there is any info i need for these 2 new places! thanks         George and Adriana      :good

Be aware that the Moabi launch ramp is still "under construction" and the river flow is VERY LOW....not sure if they are going to increase the flow over the next two weeks... :eek   You may have to trailer down to Havasu to go boating... :beat

Thanks everyone! I hope the water level dose go up!!! But i will be in Havasu and Parker that week too! :beer  Definatley want to get together with the crew this year to party and meet new people that enjoy the river life! Hey procraft...  When you were at moabi?  Was it just low or impossible for a jet to pass?  I was hoping that with the slight increase from 2000cfs to 4000 it would be better than when I was there two weeks ago.  I couldnt get past Topac without getting close...

There was a big sand bar at the entrance on friday,Sunday when we were going home the sand bar was under water by maybe 10inchs.But we did see a jet boat going into topock when we were crossing the bridge.When we were in moabi we didnt go all the way down to the ramp,But I do know the ramp at topock was closed. :cool

Good News on Needles (I think).... :good

Looks like the daytime flows out of Davis have been increased above 8000 cfs since the 11th..!!  :jumpie   The flow goes down below 2000 at night, but the overall average flow conditions have improved... :beer

Lots of peeps going out this week-end, so we should hear more....

Go here to check on the river flows.  Updates weekly or better.
Lower Colorado River Operations Page

If your gonna try to run from the Avi to Topock, check with the locals on current conditions.  That big rock pile on the Cali side near the overhead gas lines has claimed more than it's share of props, outdrives, etc.  Best to make the run after 10am as I understand it.   :beer

Thanks :good   Lucky I have a jet.  but Last year I jumped my old jet off of that pile when I got caught headin back to the avi too late in the day....  I think that got me the bone head of the year award :( Still have the scare from where we hit.  Took a chunk outta my knee. Heres a pic of my buddys leg..

Im going to see if it is possible to make it through that stretch.   I hope but I am not counting on it.
