Quote (Carrera Elite @ Aug. 03 2005,3:03 pm) | Quote (freddog @ Aug. 03 2005,11:35 am) | That was a pretty good storm on Sunday, lost one boat at Saguaro that evening, a 17' outboard but he managed to get someone to drag it back to the ramp and recover it. He was lucky, it went down in about 12' of water so the bow stayed above water.
That's a great pic!!! |
Nice Pics Kevin!!
I was told that several boat sunk at Pleasant during the Saturday evening storms. |
Yeah, I heard of at least one guy that sunk, swam to shore, then walked a couple miles before someone found him in the dark. I amazes me how many people stay out when they see the storms building in the distance, then they're surprised when they get caught.
Sidenote: when I first typed this I accidently wrote "...one guy that sunk, swam to whore, the walked..." Maybe he would have felt better if that was the case.
Carbon Monoxide poisoning kills boaters. Â Take the time to learn about it and how to avoid it.

Who knows... 35 maybe??? If I stand on it probably around 45 or so... I need to drag a GPS out and find out.
It's a big old heavy boat with a jet and a mild engine, so I'm not going to win any races. Â |
It's a beauty and yur ridin' in style...that's what counts IMO....

Thanks for the ride in your boat. It was plenty fast enough for me. It's cool! I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of it.
