We will be launching from Long Beach around 8:A.M. The plan is to B-line it to the island for bloodymaries and maybe a bite to eat, some socializing and come back. I know it's off season but figured I would see if anyone might be around. It will be with several other Lavey's making their anual fun run to Catalina. I'll check back for any response on the board.

Andy's going with the 2750 he bought from Nick. (Wild Lavey) |
Sounds like we will be seeing you there. So with your 21 and Andy's boat that makes two in your group? Sucks it's on Nascar weekend but I've been to the races and have never made this run. Besides I'm sure I'll be making the Laborer Day Race and staying away from the water that weekend. I was at Lavey last night picking up my boat and talking with Jeff and Kevin. Looks like they want all the boats in the water by 8:A.M., I gues I better not stay up too late playing poker with the boys on Sat.

Carrera Elite, thanks for the info. I checked it out and their run is on Saturday and ours is on Sunday so I guess we will not be bumping into them.

I would say you did one hell of a job Representing the 21'class. We tried to video the ride over but the camera man sucked. The tape just makes you dizzy. I laughed so hard on the way back I almost couldn't pilot the boat. This suicide gull just couldn't get out of the way in time. It's wing hit my brother in the head and he batted the bird which then came between the two of us and all I could see was Shawn in the back seat hit the deck as it rolled off the engine hatch. Funniest crap I've seen in a long time.

We made the run on Sunday. I counted 20 Lavey's and 1 Cobra with our group. I noticed you all made the run to Two Harbors. We took the group to Avalon. Couldn't have had better conditions out there.
