Is the river or the lake going to be the better place to be for the weekend?  River 1 day and lake the other.

The last 4th the river was actually pretty mellow in the Topack/Gorge area.  The Lake was insane, if you have a smaller boat or low freeboard...  


But Judging by the 2-3 foot breakers in the gorge on memorial weekend, nowhere will be safe :)

I think.... :D   Best place is back in the (now) no-wake zone of Speed Alley.  Nice strip of sand back in there... :good
