I get to go hang out in the middle of nowhere over the weekend in rocks and pinion trees no water within 100 miles :cry Take a left at the 266 drive about 20 miles and make another left follow the dirt road till it ends. ;)  I'll have cold beer for sure :beer

Havasu stats:

TRI-STATE - Arrest and accident stats are due in this morning from Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City on the long Labor Day activity. Overall, it was described by one officer as “pretty mild” compared to what could have happened.

For instance, early results show Lake Havasu police made less than 160 arrests, most for alcohol violations, many of them for underage drinkers in the channel area. There were a few minor boating accidents and some drug arrests were made, including one person arrested on his boat.

The Bridgewater Channel itself was closed late in the afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon when high levels of carbon monoxide were discovered. It appeared the weekend was busy as expected. One employee of Kokomo’s, the popular lakeside bar/club in Lake Havasu, told TSN well over 3,000 people were at the establishment on Saturday night.

Law enforcement presence on the lake and in busy areas of the Colorado River was in evidence, but few complaints seemed to take place from those more busy having fun and partying without incident.

I read on another forum that the lake was no where near as rough or crowded as it was the weekend of the Desert Storm weekend in April.

One of my buyers keeps a 5th wheel at Riverland... :good
He said the lower sandbar was going strong on Saturday, but Sunday & particularly Monday were very laid back, almost empty on the water.... :cool
