We were at the Apache marina about 2:30 overlooking the white caps and watched a guy with a red, white and blue colored jet walk the boat on to the trailer while we ate lunch. Tryed to get there before you guys left but I couldn't get the wife motivated early enough.  :drama   Not sure what direction we will go but definatly going to give it a shot  there for a couple days this sumer along with Roosevelt.

We were out of there around 10, tired of fightin the wind. We met the guy with the boat your talking about, guy named Kevin from Cottonwood. He ran with me back from Party Cove and was a bit suprised :eek  by the ole Blu Canoe :laugh

Yep thats the one.   Was hoping you guys were still there but understand once we got there and saw the white caps.   :eek  They we small waves but that boat was taking on water as it was beached while he went to get the trailer. The boat drifted parellel to shore and was taking wave hits that were not just over the side but even up on the deck.

He was a bit of a Goober, good kid ;)  just a little green on the ways of the lake :rolleyes His boat was a Hawaiian so we had that in common.

We had our boat in a slip all weekend so we were safe from the waves. But my back is feeling the runs we had on the water.
