I saw a documentary on the river and much of it was on Lake Powell. Absolutely beautiful. What's the best month go there?

I just got back from Powell and I can honestly say ANYTIME you can get there is the best time to go.  Friggin beautiful..Even had a couple of storms blow through but they in no way put a damper on the week.  I've got plenty of pics that I'll have to post up soon.

Never have been to Powell but would love to make a run up there.  Everyones description makes it out to be the best.
have been to mead and was impressed there, so it can only be better up at the big pond. :)

Long beach on the 12th.
Then no more boats till Sept 1st.
Looks like I'll miss a good time.
How many hours from Havi to Powell towing boat?

Ok I understand about the work for the wife.  We are thinking of going to Powell for 4 days the middle of October.  A friend of ours has a houseboat and has invited us.

Always. Sat is always the busiest for work. Someone once said I should take my laptop to Havi. That will never happen.
Havi time is for bonding with the boat, I think she misses me.
