For the week of October 21. Actually going over to put finishing touches on our new "River Shack". It's been alot of hard work and has taken more time than we thought it would (duh). Carport/shop combo being installed to put the toy's in. We'll be on the river between Needles and the Gorge most days. :jumpie  :beer

I've gotta wait two more weeks. :cry  Water might be a bit cool, but the air temps will be perfect. Let's not mention how smooth the water will be. Enjoy.  :good

I just went to Parker on Sunday to pick up my toyhauler, and when crossing the bridge from 177 to Parker, the river looked more like a creek! :jawdrop  There were many boats sitting in the mud/sand that were at least 50-75 feet away from the water! Looked like the river was all dried up. I'd have been pissed if it was my boat sitting high and dry in the mud! :angry

Maybe filling Havi. Better get it back up for Sat's Enduro. Pissed would't come close to how'd I feel. As a rule, these water releases are planned well in advance, How hard would it be to post a notice at the ramps or on the beaches themselves

Got back from the River Sunday nite. Too much work and not enough play. I'm finding out that the Contractor's sense of urgency sure doesn't match mine :fight . Only put the boat in the water on Thurs. Had to launch out of Needles and then took a run down to the Gorge. Beautiful day (92 degrees). Back out in the next couple of weeks to try and wrap up this time.
