I can't wait. I was there for the first time last year awesome time. As a matter of fact thats trip they wife talked herself into a bigger boat. :good

Can't wait for this year. All ready planning that trip and the Nordic regatta. :good

They're supposed to be having one on the weekend of May 9th. :good

I've been talking to them up in Havasu and they keep telling me to watch their website for more info. Still haven't seen anything there. But thats the dates they told me. It used to be up on their old sight, but since they re-did it they still haven't put it back on there. We will just have to wait and see. :good

They always have the first part of May. They cancelled the '07 regatta in Feb. Some say it was because of gas prices, and some said it was a health issuse. I was also told it was cancelled because of a very low turn-out in '06.

How far up river does the poker run course go?
Does it go up to, or past, Moabi?

I'm useally in Laughlin for the River Run event on this same weekend. Last year we took a day off from riding, drop'd the boat in at needles and headed south on Fri the 27th.
We saw a group of GoFast boats come thru Topock heading up river.
I wonder if it was part of the run?

Anywho, We'll do the same this year and take a boat ride to Topock or further down river on the 25th.

Depending on what's going on in Laughlin, maybe ride the bikes down to Havasu during the day on the 24th. That's always a nice ride.

Usually The Farthest North It Goes Is When they Leave The North Opening of the channel. The Run Usually Goes South To Parker Dam.....
