:good Stoddard Wells is fun, but a bit too close to civilization for me.....although I'll bet that this time of year there weren't too many peeps out there huh?

Have you ever ridden a bit more west of Barstow towards Boron? Some great riding out that way!  :D

My parents own 40 acres bisected by the Sante Fe RR tracks that run between Hinkley and Boron. I've ridden there many times and only saw other people a few times over the years.  It's so desolate that we pack. :guns  :rotflmao

We always brought our own. :laugh The funny part is we went there dozens of times before the water situation was exposed. :eek  The Santa Fe engineers threw water cartons to us sometimes, too, thinking we might need it. :D

It always amazes me where you can meet nice people. One day there could be somebody on this site talking about throwing water out the window of a train. There really are good people everywhere.
