Looking to host a bachelor party on Havasu and it's our first time there. We'll probably be having it in August. My assumption is that we'll still find plenty of activity on the lake, even though it isn't a "Spring Break" week.

Any suggestions on houseboat vs. hotel and just renting pontoons? We want to be able to hit some bars at night and are afraid that a houseboat is going to prevent us from doing that.

Any advice anybody can give is greatly appreciated.

Get a big enough, nice enough house boat, and you won't be going to any bars as all the babes will be on your boat. Welcome to Havasu.

i agree but you could also stay at the the london bridge resort and walk to the bars at night and rent the pontoon and see more of the lake and go to the sandbar that you cant do in a house boat :beer
