Going to Parker for Memorial weekend. Staying at the RV park next to Blue Water. Using Blue Water boat slips. Need some ideas as to where the party spots and non-party spots are on the Parker side. I hear that sometimes there are concerts on the river near the casino.
Any help appreciated.

We like to hang out at Fox's. I'm not sure if the Low's still own the place but they are fun to hang out with.

Personaly, I avoid big weekend on the srtip. they can be a freaking zoo of stupid people in a close area.  But if you got to go...


There is a sand bar accross the river from  Blue Water that folks hang out on as well as a sand bar up near foxes I think. The Roadrunner is a good place for breakfast and a drink. Head up to the dam and float back. Be carfull of Rock Island though. The keys are a neat place to cruise through.

I know a few may chim in with there places.

Haven't been to Parker in many many years.... but I was thinking the same as the recent posts above...

If you can't find a party spot in Parker on Memorial weekend, you're not in Parker.

Stayed in that park a couple of years ago, had a great time.  Hung out at "day use" in front of the amphitheater and also on the Island in front of the Blue Water.

We were in "The Canyon" and could hear the Sat. night concert in the rig with the a/c full blast.  :good  The band was a 'Zeppelin tribute band.

We'll be staying nearby but have friends and family staying there, so we'll be spending some time in the water around there.

We're new kids on this block and look forward to meetin' HDF folks. :beer

you should have stayed at the sandbar next to foxes it is alot more fun that the blue water. they have their own bar also to hang out in at nite. Fox's is a cool place to hang out at nite or the roadrunner

I'm not sure but I think the name of that bar was Sports Valley.  And yes, there was always plenty of drunk women to go around.  It's too bad Sundance owners cant seem to keep the place open because that was a fun bar to party at!  Shoot, I saw my very first live naked lady on the dock there when I was just a lil kid.  Back when it was all wood....fun times.
