Yep,

We usually go once or twice over the winter to Rocky Point or Guaymas/San Carlos...Not this year

With the crap goin on down there now plus the economy the way it it, we should just start boatin' earlier this year instead.... :cold

There's a new place south of Rocky Point that has put in their own international airport and they are building a new road right to the resort to keep away from the normal road...Big Time Money goin in down there....Canadians buying in big time as well....

I hope so too for the cities sake. But they have made it harder every year for quite a few years. Go to Florida and get DK. Go to Texas and get DK plus see lots of naked ladies. Or go to Havi and get arrested. Tough choice. I'm still laughing about the one were the LEO's can arrest you because you might in the future do something illegal.

City has a "reputation" now. And the kids know it. Less people this year, bet on it. City has also added $100 bucks extra per ticket across the board.

Wow..... $100.00 per ticket?  That should discourage some folks....Looks like Havasu may get another kind of reputation...... :banghead

In the last week I've heard a lot of them, and Mexico is still expecting a 2% increase in tourism.

I went to Nogales for my Mom to get her some meds. I took a friend of mine that grew up there and even he was nervous! There are some really scary things happening and I'm not planning a trip again at all :guns
