So you don't have them anymore? My 68 El Camino has been the one and only vehicle I have ever owned in my entire life. I have rolled the odometer over 3 times! Bought it used in 1987 for$1500 during my senior year in high school. It's been about 17 years now I've had her and will never sell her for any price! :good

Well I forgot I acctually bought a 69 El Camino that was so ready for the junk yard. Bought it from a friend for $200. The guy that owned it before me ran it head-on into a wall. I then bought the car and completely repaired the whole front end from junk yard parts myself. I was living with my X g/f at the time and we ended up breaking up so I had to sell it. After somewhat fixing it I sold it for $650 and the engine wasn't even in it. I'm sure today that car has been completely restored and is awesome looking I bet! This is what it looked like when I brought it home that night.

My uncle gave me that car, he was going to junk it.  I got it with a 318 that I blew up a few times, then I put a 413 in it that I hounded, then came the blown 440.  I built the motor, trans, rear end, put front disc brakes on it, built the headers, and painted it.

Built this all by myself.  72 Cutlass, 455, Eibach springs, new chrome oil pan :D (there's a long story behind that).

Just need interior and paint, though I kind of like the suede green paint.

Just pulling the blower off, and selling the ford blower stuff and building another blown 440 for this car, should run 9's.

Actually the 69's have a little different front park lights, bumpers, and front side markers. Also I think they have backup lights in the tailgate on the 69's. I'm starting to think RiverRatMike is correct that probably is a 69. Hell it was only about 24 years ago and alot of  :drink  :drink since I owned that one.

Somewhere I have a list that we started awhile ago and it was up to 75+ vehicles I've owned since 1976 and its about 15 short from last update.

Ya know, I think it was to early for me to be posting shit on the internet this morning.  Mike's right, it's a 69.  I don't know where I came up with that stuff about the grills.

I know, I need to start drinking sooner in the day.  :good  :beer  :drink

Yes my el camino does have a 69 though 72 tailgate. In 68 there were no tail lights in the tailgate. The back up lights in 68 were in the bumper. If you go to the link below you can find out alot of the differances between a 68 and 69. It doesn't look it, but really there was quite a few different changes between the 2 years.Chevelles Website
