Here's some sites for finding info. on problems with various trucks/towing issues:

www.pickuptrucks.com        Basically, the Hot Boat of pickup truck fans, even has a "war room" to bicker over brands, lots of good info. on problems/tips for all major brands of trucks.  If you own a 6.0 gas 00-03 GM truck, this site is a must when your pistons start slapping.

www.thedieselstop.com

Chevy and Ford diesel sites, respectively, has info. on old and new diesels.

www.rv.net
This site has info. on everything trailers/towing ,tow veh. info.  /Lots of good tech stuff here.
