Seems like last week, maybe a bit longer, HDF was at #21.
Yesterday #31, Today #32. I'm going to guess somebody is counting clicks somewhere, or something similar. How can we boost this count back up?

A few years ago, we were in the Top 10 of that list. :eek  I think the highest we got was #8. :stupid

This is how it works.  It counts "unique" IP hits daily.  Unique meaning, if you viewed the site 100 times in a day with the same IP, it would only count as 1.  Typically if you have a broadband connection or you connect from work, you'll have the same IP all day long.  Also, if you are on a network behind a router, everyone from the same network will show the same router IP counting as 1 for everyone. :beat On the other hand, if you are on dial up, you can be assigned different IP's for each session that you are dialed in for.  In that scenario, 1 person can register multiple unique IP hits in the same day.  This is rarer than the first scenario though. :beat

There are 2 reasons we have dropped on the list. Firstly our traffic is down by 80% of what it once was.  Secondly, there are many sites on that list that have increased in traffic.

Ultimately, it is not even worth trying to manipulate. :)

You could add the Bikini Team to the description. Especially with winter coming.

That's a good idea. :good  We've always received very few visits from that link.  More than anything, it's been a quick indicator to me of our recent traffic. :)
