496 BBC Pro-Built Never Run
Block: MK IV 4 Bolt Main (Chevy MK IV Blocks Have Superior Cooling Abilities) New 502 Forged Steel Crank GM Heavy Duty Racing Connecting Rods FORGED 9-3/4:1 JE Pistons INTERNALLY Balanced Crane Hydro Roller Cam Blueprinted Roller Timing Chain Deep Pan and Racing GM Oil Pump
Heads: Manley Oversized EXTREME DUTY Valves (Manley's BEST Valve) Manely Triple Valve Springs Chambers cc'ed and polished Some porting Still needs: Hydro Rolling Lifter, Roller Rocker and Pushrods, as I never got around to completing this part.
Other: Edelbrock Aluminum Intake Pro-Comp Electronic Racing Distributor Used Holley 850 Double Pumper (will need rebuilt) GM Clutch Fan
I had this engine built a few years ago by a local Racing Engine guy, for a very High Performance street motor with gobs of torque and at least 550 HP in mind. I never completed my project, and the motor has been sitting. I have a little over $8,000 in it without the Pro-Comp Distributor.
I will sell it for $3500 FIRM FIRM FIRM -- A bargain for what it is!
Keep in mind this motor was built for a street application, however, I have a very good friend nearby that also builds Big Block Chevys, and he can tear the motor down and "loosen" it up for a Marine application for under $500. He can also verify for you what all is in it if you want at the same time.
Better and more solid than a crate motor with higher performance and INTERNALLY BALANCED for half the price!
I can help with crating and shipping.
$3500 gets you a great great motor. I need to sell this ASAP!
PS: If you need a picture you obviously have never seen a BBC before! LOL!
Real motors are Hemis and Chevys, Fords dont count!
